These include Best Drama Series for Hard Copy, Best Director for Tim Green for Hard Copy, Best Writing team, Best Art Direction for Amelia Weavind, Best Actor for James Ngcobo who played the editor in Hard Copy, Best Supporting Actor for Jody Abrahams who plays Benny in Hard Copy, Best editor for Megan Gill for Hard Copy, Best Make-Up for Maureen Wells.
Tsha Tsha, the drama series set in the Eastern Cape won a further four awards, including Best Ensemble cast, Best Music for Su Lubner and Loyiso Bala, Best Sound Design for Juli van den Berg, Best Wardrobe for Gladys Machava.

The Inaugural South African film and television awards the SAFTAs were held at Gallagher’s Estate on Friday and Saturday nights. Winners received a Golden Horn Award.
