Curious Pictures wraps production on the newest communication initiative from Soul City's ONELOVE Campaign. "Meet Joe"; is a highly stylized visual campaign directed by Donovan Marsh to compliment the ongoing strategy of the ONELOVE Campaign which aims to get people thinking and talking about their sexual behaviour in this time of HIV and AIDS.
In 2006, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Think Tank put forward an agenda to expand public information and education on Multiple Concurrent Partners (MCP) as a leading factor in the exponential spread of the HIV/AIDS virus in Southern Africa.
"Meet Joe" is a concise communication tool to directly target the practice and create dialogue on Multiple Concurrent Partners (MCP). The PSA commercial “Meet Joe” will be televised beginning in October on all local public broadcasters in South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia and will be broadcast in the near future in additional SADC countries.
