Heartlines Feature Film scheduled to screen during the New York African Film Festival in May.

Heartlines, the HD feature film will screen under the banner "Africa in Transition," during the New York African Film Festival. The NYAFF will present a lineup of 35 films from 16 countries throughout Africa and the African Diaspora.

Presented by African Film Festival, Inc. (AFF) and The Film Society of Lincoln Center (FSLC), the 16th annual NYAFF runs at The Film Society of Lincoln Center April 8 through 14, continues with a panel discussion at the Columbia University's Institute of African Studies on April 15 and wraps up at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's BAMcinématek from May 22 through 25.

Curious Pictures originally created the Heartlines film as part of a larger communication initiative for the Mass Media Project. Supported by FNB, The Heartlines campaign – with the tag line 8 films, 8 values, one national conversation were broadcast in 2006 on all three national stations and were seen by millions of viewers. The Heartlines feature film has won numerous awards including Best Dramatic Feature at the Byron Bay Film Festival in Australia, Best South African Feature Film at the Durban Film Festival and a Special Jury Sony Digital Cinema Award at Skip City International Digital-Cinema Festival in Japan. The Film has screened worldwide in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia
