A 13 part reality series aimed at children between the ages of 8-12 yrs old. It is a companion series to the successful Soul Buddyz drama series.
Set in Buddyz Clubs around South Africa, each week, the club tries to change something in their community. The result is a testament to the power of children who tackle issues like disability, HIV and Aids and nutrition.
Produced in association with Ochre Media for Soul City and broadcast on SABC1.


A HIV/AIDS educational video for the Botswanan Anti-Retroviral rollout campaign. Filmed on location in Botswana, the video features a presentation by a trained health-education facilitator intercut with animated sequences to convey key messages around HIV/AIDS testing, as well as ARV therapy and preventative lifestyles.


A series of 3 patient education videos dealing with HIV testing and ARV therapy. Filmed on location in Botswana, the videos documented the lives of real people on ARV therapy. The characters conveyed key messages around ARV therapy, as well as encouraging viewers to undergo HIV testing. The videos were produced for the Botswanan government, as part of their free ARV Therapy rollout campaign.


The Big Idea is a science and technology game show that proved enormously successful with young audiences. The Big Idea pitted teams of celebrity guests against each other and challenged them to build simple mechanisms with an unlikely assortment of materials including toilet rolls, drinking straws and ping-pong balls - with both hilarious and instructive results. The Big Idea also profiled South African innovators and inventions including profiling traditional and indigenous technology. .


S'camto (township lingo for "Let’s talk") gave the youth of South Africa a chance to talk candidly about sex, love and relationships. Teenagers across South Africa were trained in the art of making television and sent out to interview their peers about their views on sex and love. The result was a remarkable programme where South African teenagers talk candidly about their fears, aspirations and feelings.
