Curious Pictures wraps production on the newest communication initiative from Soul City’s ONELOVE Campaign. “Meet Joe” is a highly stylized visual campaign directed by Donovan Marsh to compliment the ongoing strategy of the ONELOVE Campaign which aims to get people thinking and talking about their sexual behaviour in this time of HIV and AIDS.

Castle Lite CrossRds campaign received a Silver APEX Award in the Change category from the South African Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA). The APEX Awards have been a significant industry marker in South Africa for the past 14 years and the awards acknowledge the achievement of communications campaigns’ performance excellence in an industry that is constantly refining and redefining creativity.

Curious Pictures continues their partnership with powerhouse PR Agency Magna Carta on the Brand Activation of Standard Bank's Achiever Brand. On June 11th Standard Bank hosted their annual Artist of the Year event at their downtown Johannesburg Gallery. The Gallery was transformed into a fun, flirtatious, wonderland to complement the exquisite art exhibition of Artist of the Year, Lolo Veleko. Standard Bank Achiever winners were selected to attend the high profile event via a website competition. On the heels of the successful Kaboom! Pro 20 Cricket national tour, Curious Pictures designed and implemented another spectacular one of a kind experience which fit seamlessly into the 'above the line' ad campaign.

Official announcements were made for the 49th Annual Monte Carlo Television Festival this week regarding the nominations of the top international productions to compete at the prestigious Golden Nymph Awards to be held in the principality of Monaco on June 11th. Listed among the international nominations is the locally produced mini series Hopeville, the only African production to be nominated at the festival it is honored with two nominations.

Hopeville’s nominations at the 49th Annual Monte Carlo Television Festival include Best Mini-Series and Outstanding Actor for Hopeville’s lead actor, Themba Ndaba.

Curious Pictures partners with Durban based Ogilvy Action in the creation of "Flash in the Pan", a new branded content venture for Unilever client Sunlight Dishwashing Liquid.

"Flash in the Pan" is a cook fast, clean fast cooking show comprised of 13 three minute episodes. Audiences are welcomed into the home of Rami, a warm, quick-witted and successful businesswoman who manages her manic work schedule, home life and large family with flair and ease, preparing quick, nutritious meals while maintaining a spotless kitchen. Rami makes the ordinary extraordinary in a few simple steps as she educates and entertains viewers with affordable family recipes and effortless cleaning tips.
